Designed, architected, and implemented a Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Provisioning Services (PVS) environment to support up to 3,000 users. The deployment spanned two separate datacenters, utilizing four VMware vCenters and Citrix CVAD.
Key project highlights:
Built two Citrix sites: one production and one passive disaster recovery (DR).
Delivered Windows Server 2019 hosted shared desktops, Windows 10 VDIs, and virtualized applications.
Implemented Citrix PVS with load-balanced streaming of vDisks across multiple PVS servers.
Designed persistent and non-persistent Machine Catalogs using both PVS and MCSIO.
Configured Citrix Universal Print Server, User Profile Manager, and Folder Redirection per client requirements.
Enabled Two-Factor Authentication via RSA RADIUS integration on Citrix NetScaler (ADC).
Configured SQL Always-On Availability Groups with Listeners for high availability of Citrix databases.
Deployed HA NetScaler pairs for both sites, with Load Balancing for StoreFront and XML traffic.
Implemented an Active/Passive DR strategy using Citrix Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB).
